Calendar of Runs

Worthing Running Sisters Calendar -  March - June 2019

 

We meet, ready to run, at 7pm on Monday evenings.  Our longest run can be 9 miles, most are less, with the option of a shorter run if someone is willing to lead it. Michele will advise when the walking group will be meeting. Please let her know if you are hoping to join her at any time.  Volunteer leaders welcome to take any walk or run.

 

11 March –Meet at Sea Lane Café for a Goring square run.

18 March – Meet at Davisons for Winter 9. There will be options for shorter runs.

25 March – Arundel. Meet in the car park next to the museum opposite the castle entrance for an Arundel town run.

1 April – British Summer Time has begun! Meet at Sea Lane Café for a Rife run.

 

8 April – Meet at public car park beyond Spotted Cow in Angmering for Highdown Hill run – bring a torch if you have one – walking group will re-start depending on weather Sunset 19.44

15 April – Meet in Downside at the top of Buckingham Park, Shoreham for Erringham Farm run ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erringham_chapel apparently there was an 11th century chapel on the site now occupied by the barn) Sunset 19.56

22 April – Bank Holiday – Meet at The Fox at Patching for a bluebell reccy Sunset 20.07

29 April – Meet at The Fox at Patching for the first official bluebell run Sunset 20.18

6 May – Bank Holiday - Meet at The Fox at Patching for more bluebells Sunset 20.29

13 May – Meet in the car park at the top of Honeysuckle Lane, High Salvington for different bluebells Sunset 20.40

20 May – Meet at Worlds End, Patching (please park in road or layby) for even more bluebells Sunset 20.50

27 May – Bank Holiday – Meet at Sea Lane café for a Rife run Sunset 20.59

3 June – Meet at Lancing Manor Leisure Centre for Grevatt run Sunset 21.07

10 June –Planning – possibly combined with the 25th anniversary celebration meal – further details to follow

17 June – Meet at Adur rec, Shoreham for a river bank run. Various options will be available including a 9 mile – both footpaths are now open Sunset 21.17
