Worthing Running Sisters Calendar - March to July 2020


Please arrive in good time and be ready to run at 7pm. The early off road runs are likely to be muddy this year so a change of shoes for driving home might be useful!

Leaders will be required for short options.

The walking group will re-start on Monday 20 April led by Michelle. There will only be a walking group if the weather is dry.



9th March  –  Davisons – winter 9 and other options


16th March  –  George V Avenue – seafront efforts session


23rd March  –  George V Avenue – Goring to Heene Road loopy run (off the seafront)


Clocks change 29th March – lighter evenings begin – Hurray!


30th March  –  Adur Rec – houseboat path and Shoreham beach run


6th April  –  Sea Lane Café, Goring – Rife run


13th April – Easter Monday – Bank Holiday meet at The Fox at Patching if you are free for a bluebell reccy Sunset 19.53


20th April – Meet at The Fox, Patching (please park in the road) for the first official bluebell run.  Sunset 20.04


27th April – Meet in the road outside The Worlds End, Patching (please do not use the pub car park) for bluebells Sunset 20.07


4th May – Meet at car park at Honeysuckle Lane, High Salvington for bluebells Sunset 20.26


11th May –Meet at The Fox at Patching (please park in the road) for bluebells Sunset 20.37


18th May –Meet at Hillbarn recreation ground car park for a Cissbury run Sunset 20.47


25th May – Bank Holiday – Meet at Sea Lane café for a Rife run Sunset 20.56


1st June –Meet at Lancing Manor Leisure Centre for the Grevatt run Sunset 21.04


8th June – Summer meal – venue to be confirmed – and planning for the autumn calendar Sunset 21.11


15th June – Meet at Swanbourne Lake for Black Rabbit, Stoke and Arundel Park run Sunset 21.15


22nd June – Meet at The Fox at Patching (please park in the road) for Windy Ridge Sunset 21.17


29th June – Meet in Downside at the top of Buckingham Park, Shoreham for Erringham Farm run Sunset 21.17


6th July – Meet at Adur rec car park for river run – options up to and including 9 miles Sunset 21.1


13th July – Meet in the layby at St Botolphs (Shoreham Road A283 opposite old cement works) for Upper Beeding, Bramber and Golding barn Sunset 21.14


20th July – Meet in Sandhill Lane, Washington for Buncton, Wiston and lower Chanctonbury Sunset 21.01


27th July – Meet at Frankland Arms, Washington for Washington Steps, South Downs Way and Sullington Sunset 20.52
