Worthing Running Sisters Calendar - December 2018 - March 2019
We meet, ready to run, at 7pm on Monday evenings. Our longest run can be 9 miles, most are less, with the option of a shorter run if someone is willing to lead it. Michele will advise when the walking group will be meeting. Please let her know if you are hoping to join her at any time. Volunteer leaders welcome to take any walk or run.
Saturday 1st December - Christmas Cracker Chase - all help needed please
3rd December –Meet at Assembly rooms car park Stoke Abbot Road for Worthing loopy run.
10th December – Meet in car park beside museum opposite castle in Arundel for Arundel town centre xmas lights run – one of the most popular runs of the year.
17th December –The second most popular run of the year – Mince Pie and Mulled Wine run. Meet at 22 Hazlehurst Crescent, Findon Valley for run followed by mince pies and mulled wine at Sue’s house. (Michele will be walking)
24th December – Xmas eve. Meet at bottom of George V Avenue for a seafront run. Turn up if you have time or perhaps contact other sisters and arrange a run over the xmas break at a convenient time to you.
31st December –New Year’s eve. Meet at bottom of George V Avenue for a seafront run. As above.
If any sisters do arrange a run at a different time over the holiday period it would be great if you popped it on our Facebook page so we can see what everyone is up to.
7th January 2019 – XMAS MEAL – no run involved just a lovely evening!
14th January – Meet on prom at end of George V Avenue for Seafront run.
21 January – Meet at Lancing Manor Leisure Centre for Mickey Mouse hills.
28 January – Meet on the southside of Goring station for a Goring twiddle.
4 February – Meet at Adur recreation ground car park for a Shoreham run.
11 February –Meet on prom at end of George V Avenue for efforts or relay.
18 February – Meet in Rustington Sainsbury’s car park – park on right as you enter – for Rustington run.
25 February –Meet at Early Years Thomas A Beckett for hills of High Salvington.
4 March – Davisons for AGM and planning – followed by a short run to the seafront.
11 March –Meet at Sea Lane Café for a Goring square run.
18 March – Meet at Davisons for Winter 9. There will be options for shorter runs.
25 March – Arundel. Meet in the car park next to the museum opposite the castle entrance for an Arundel town run.
1 April – British Summer Time has begun! Meet at Sea Lane Café for a Rife run.
