Worthing Running Sisters Calendar - December 2019 - April 2020
Please arrive in good time and be ready to run at 7pm.
Please remember safety in the dark – wear high vis clothing – bring a small torch or head torch if necessary.
Leaders will be required for short options. There will always be short options for winter road runs and distances will vary according to conditions.
9th December – Shoreham - to find Christmas lights. Meet in the car park at Adur rec.
16th December – Meet in car park beside museum opposite castle in Arundel for Arundel town centre xmas lights run – one of the most popular runs of the year.
23rd December – The second most popular run of the year – Mince Pie and Mulled Wine run. Meet at 22 Hazlehurst Crescent, Findon Valley, for run followed by mince pies and mulled wine at Sue’s house. (Michele will be walking)
30th December – Seafront post-Christmas effort session. Meet on the seafront at the end of George V Avenue.
6th January 2020 – ‘Mickey Mouse hills’ meet in the car park at Lancing Manor leisure centre for the ‘Mickey Mouse hills’
13th January – Assembly rooms car park, Stoke Abbott Road, Worthing – for loopy run
20th January – Park at Adur rec for a Shoreham run.
27th January – Tesco Durrington for hills
3rd February – Sainsbury’s Rustington – variation on Jane’s run.
10th February – Sainsbury’s Lyons Farm – head for Longlands and Offington
17th February – Goring station for Sue P’s run
24th February – Early Years TAB – head for hills of High Salvington
2nd March – Davisons – AGM / Planning- please think about runs you would like
9th March – Davisons – winter 9 and other options
16th March – George V Avenue – seafront efforts session
23rd March – George V Avenue – Goring to Heene Road loopy run (off the seafront)
Clocks change 29th March – lighter evenings begin – Hurray!
30th March – Adur Rec – houseboat path and Shoreham beach run
6th April – Sea Lane Café, Goring – Rife run
13th April – Easter Monday Bank holiday – meet at The Fox at Patching if you are free for a bluebell reccy.
